Retractions of abusive rulings

When a tenant requests the retraction of an eviction order for unpaid rent, the request should not hold back the execution of the ruling, unless the tenant pays the rent due to the office of the housing authority. Currently, problematic tenants use the retraction request to inappropriately delay their eviction, as well as backing up the courts, where they deign to even show up. CORPIQ is asking that article 89 of An act respecting the Régie du logement be modified.
