Refusing a disabled potential tenant for lack of solvency is not discriminatory

The Human Rights Tribunal recently ruled in favor of a landlord who refused to lease to a blind candidate. The latter, supported by the Commission on Human Rights and Youth Rights, believed that this refusal was based on her disability, while the owner justified it by her inability to pay rent and provide a guarantor.
