Municipal Elections: You May Be Entitled to More Than One Vote!

Go to élections Québec :

1) Make sure your name is on the voters' list.

2) If your name is not on the voters list, apply in writing to the municipality to add your name to the voters list. The deadline to subscribe to the voters list is October 3rd!

You have the right to vote in each municipality where you own a property (you must have owned the property for at least 12 months as of September 1st). Only one vote per municipality, no matter how many buildings you own in that municipality. Owning properties in more than one borough of the same city does not entitle you to more than one vote in that city.
