CORPIQ joins forces with ACQ Résidentiel to support renovation of Quebec's rental housing stock

In a context where renovation of the residential real estate stock is a major issue, the Corporation des propriétaires immobiliers du Québec (CORPIQ) announces a strategic partnership with ACQ Résidentiel to offer its members enhanced protection for their renovation projects.

Starting today, CORPIQ members can benefit from a Qualité Rénovation guarantee certificate offered free of charge by ACQ Résidentiel, a solution designed to provide a framework for work, reassure homeowners and ensure better long-term building quality.

“It's more important than ever to invest in the maintenance and renovation of rental properties. This partnership with ACQ Résidentiel enables our members to renovate with confidence, while actively participating in the preservation and modernization of Quebec's rental heritage,” says Nathalie Mercier, CORPIQ General Manager.

 

A concrete response to local needs

An aging rental housing stock, a scarcity of skilled labor and concerns about the cost of renovations call for simple, accessible solutions tailored to the realities of landlords. With this in mind, CORPIQ has joined forces with ACQ Résidentiel to offer its members tailor-made support for their renovation and construction projects.

To benefit from the Qualité Rénovation guarantee, members are invited to submit their project to ACQ Résidentiel. An advisor will put them in touch with a verified contractor, then ensure rigorous technical follow-up through expert inspections. In the event of poor workmanship, incomplete work or defects - apparent or hidden - members benefit from comprehensive protection. They also have access to a free support service in the event of a claim, to assist them in their efforts and facilitate the necessary corrective action.
