Youssef El Hachimi
Engineer and Founder of Groupe Darheim, a consulting engineering firm specializing in building inspections, structural engineering, and asset management across Quebec and Ontario.
His career has provided him with extensive expertise in the building industry. Before founding Groupe Darheim, he spent more than a decade in the real estate sector, first overseeing operations for a large residential complex comprising 127 buildings, then managing a portfolio of more than 5,000 multi-residential units for publicly traded REITs. He later joined a major Montreal-based real estate developer, where he worked on projects ranging from commercial renovations to the construction management of multi-residential buildings. This diverse experience has given him a practical understanding of the technical, operational, and financial challenges involved in building ownership and management.
A licensed Professional Engineer and member of both the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), he is also a Level I Certified Thermographer and a Project Management Professional (PMP). Today, he advises property owners and managers on building assessments, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset maintenance.
Massimo Vatistas
A licensed Professional Engineer and member of both the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), he is recognized for his expertise in building restoration, structural rehabilitation, and real estate asset preservation. A graduate of Concordia University with a degree in Building Engineering specializing in Structural Engineering, he combines strong technical design expertise with hands-on field experience to help property owners maintain, restore, and maximize the value of their buildings.
Passionate about real estate—and especially the construction industry—Massimo has built a strong reputation through his active involvement on construction sites, his practical understanding of existing buildings, and his ability to deliver durable, efficient engineering solutions tailored to real-world conditions.
