Écohabitation
Major partner
Ecohabitation is a non-profit organization that promotes the development of healthy, resource-and energy-efficient, sustainable, affordable, resilient, and accessible housing for all. The NPO carries out its mission through analysis, promotion, awareness-raising, training, and support activities aimed at the general public, housing sector stakeholders, and policy makers, for all types of housing.
Ecohabitation deploys and operates the JeRénovÉco initiative for owners of single-family homes and multi-unit buildings to provide neutral, objective, and personalized support to homeowners in their home renovation or repair projects. The goal is to help homeowners from start to finish to drastically reduce their energy bills, improve thermal comfort in the residential sector, and protect themselves from flooding. The program offers a personalized project plan (a technical estimate), an analysis of bids received, and support in obtaining grants.
For large residential buildings, Écohabitation offers an engineering service specializing in energy studies, simulation, design support, and grant applications for multi-unit residential buildings. The organization's strength lies in maximizing energy efficiency and climate performance, as well as grants and advantageous financing solutions.
