CORPIQ has always played an active part on political and media stages where it has fervently defended the interests of property owners. Exercising its leadership in lobbying, its role consists of maintaining the gains achieved by property owners, as well as obtaining changes from government that will allow investment in a more equitable environment on the judicial front and more favourable on the economic front.
Housing being a field that encompasses various issues, CORPIQ prioritises them according to the level of interest and importance that its members attribute them. Every year, it simultaneously lobbies many ministerial cabinets, governmental organisations, municipalities and even tribunals. Furthermore, as the largest association of property owners in the country, CORPIQ is regularly invited to participate in debates, consultations and events dealing with housing. It also contributes to the upturn of this socio-economic field that is essential for the prosperity and wellbeing of Quebecers.
